SATAIR · WAREHOUSE AUTOMATION

A clearer path to
connected material flow.

Explore how autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), the right carriers and practical system integration could support your warehouse — with local engineering from AETEC.

SEE THE PROPOSED FLOW

From the overall layout
to the AMR’s journey.

Follow three routes, compare handling methods, then explore the proposed controls, return on investment approach and support arrangements.

THE PROJECT CONCEPT

Connect the movement.
Keep the record.

Start with one useful workflow. Confirm the load, the handover and the information needed to make the whole process work.

01

Choose the handling method

Compare towing, liftable carriers, pallet transport and conveyor handovers. Mobile-cobot options can add handling at suitable workstations.

02

Qualify the existing carts

Review dimensions, loaded stability, lifting interfaces and LiDAR clearance. Compare practical modifications with a purpose-built carrier.

03

Plan and verify the operation

Agree routes, stations, priorities and shipment timing. Measure attended time, buffer space, traceability and exception handling through a pilot.

PROPOSED CONTROL ARCHITECTURE

Dedicated AMR network.
Controlled data exchange.

Separate AMR Wi-Fi and a local operational database. Your information technology (IT) team approves the connections, access and data shared through an intermediate exchange service.

EXCHANGE ZONEProtected file serviceRestricted accounts + validated files
AETEC OPERATIONSMiddleware + local databaseJob queue → fleet / station interfaces

Verify before dispatch. Confirm before completion. Proposed QR / barcode or qualified RFID checks link the job, load, carrier and destination. A mismatch or uncertain read holds the job for authorised review.

Interfaces, cybersecurity controls, carrier suitability and performance require joint engineering and site validation. A shared folder is an exchange point, not the operational database.

A supported handover

Joint acceptance testing, operator and maintenance training, recovery guides, configuration backups and clear support contacts.

Investigate. Correct. Improve.

Review job records with your team, identify the cause, test corrections and confirm the result. Agree service hours, response arrangements and site support as part of the project.

THE NEXT CONVERSATION

Agree one flow.
Measure it. Improve it.

Bring the cart dimensions, loaded weights, daily movements and IT requirements. Together, we can define a focused pilot and the evidence needed for a clear business case.
